Bachmann Software Launches New Version of PrintBoy for Palm Powered™ Handhelds

Expanded version of PrintBoy enables table and image printing from Documents To Go files

SPARTA, NJ - November 19, 2003... Today, Bachmann Software introduced version 6.0 of its popular PrintBoy Premium Edition software. This expanded version of Bachmann's popular mobile printing application for Palm Powered handhelds provides customers with new features such as enhanced document printing support for DataViz' Documents to Go®, a new Print Setup Wizard that takes the guesswork out of choosing and configuring printer drivers, new printer drivers for the Brother mPrint and other printers, and improved support for accessing shared network printers over 802.11 "Wi-Fi" connections.

DataViz' Documents to Go users enjoy more powerful print formatting than ever before with PrintBoy's support for embedded images and tables. Also with PrintBoy's new Send menu feature, Dataviz customers for the first time can now automatically print documents, spreadsheets and slide presentations without even leaving the Documents To Go application.

"The ability to print fully-formatted documents directly from within Documents To Go gives handheld users more options to share their information with co-workers, colleagues, customers and friends and enhances their overall experience with our software" said Rob Hoxie, Director of Business Development. "We are very pleased to see Bachmann Software offer these PrintBoy 6.0 enhancements to Dataviz' customers."

"Handheld computers are now used at schools, homes and workplaces by customers who simply expect them to be able to handle basic, everyday computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail. We wouldn't think of buying a laptop or PC which could not print from those applications," said Glenn Bachmann, president and founder of Bachmann Software. "With PrintBoy 6.0, we've met that expectation head on by giving customers an unparalleled ability to produce high-quality printed documents from handheld computers using infrared, Bluetooth or wireless network "Wi-Fi" printer connections."

PrintBoy Premium Edition 6.0 is priced at $39.99 USD. Most customers of previous PrintBoy products will be able to upgrade to PrintBoy premium edition 6.0 for only $9.99 through December 31, 2003. Customers may purchase either product at Bachmann Software's website at
